The big selling point of Kinect is the Xbox 360 sensor doesn’t require a controller or accessories to play games. As they say on their commercials, "you are the controller."

CTA Digital, makers of the inflatable Mario Kart… kart, must have missed the memo. At CES they were demonstrating a Kinect bowling ball. It’s just a plastic ball with a strap, something you don’t need to play Kinect Sports, the game being demoed at all. Although, when we stopped by to see the Mario Kart kart a few people were amazed by the accessory. Perhaps, they didn’t know they were really the controller?
