Is Diabolical Pitch The Name Of Grasshopper Manufacture’s Kinect Game?

A few months ago at Tokyo Game Show, Microsoft unveiled a handful of Kinect games made by notable Japanese studios. Codename D from Flower, Sun, and Rain creator Grasshopper Manufacture was one of them.

A teaser trailer showed a bunch of people (?) walking around with tiger masks and a man holding a baseball bat tossing a baseball in the air. On one catch the ball ignites and all of the tiger people explode.

The baseball theme goes along with a trademark filed by Grasshopper Manufacture for Diabolical Pitch. Perhaps, that’s the final name for Codename D, which is just a temporary title. So if the game is called Diabolical Pitch… is this an action meets baseball game? Maybe similar to the baseball battles in No More Heroes?
