A Large Helping Of BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II Screens

Recommended Videos

BlazBlue: Continuum Shift II on the PSP and Nintendo 3DS brings a few new additions to the game. The first is the mysterious Abyss Mode, originally revealed when Continuum Shift II was announced for the PSP.

Abyss Mode is a dungeon mode where you fight your way down to the bottom of a structure called “Kagutsuchi.” Defeating foes in the Abyss Mode allows you to strengthen your character and any item you acquire in this mode is available for purchase in the item shop.

Continuum Shift II also increases the number of stories in the game from 17 to 19, with the two new original scenarios being penned by producer, Toshimichi Mori.

The screenshots posted here are from the PSP version of the game. No footage of the 3DS version of Continuum Shift II has been shown off yet, so there’s no telling if it looks any different. Additionally, there’s been no mention of online play so far. Both the Nintendo 3DS and PSP versions are priced at 5,229 yen.
