Don’t worry, Europe; you’re getting Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 as well. Nintendo of Europe will release the Nintendo DS game on October 7th. Joker 2 takes place on an island, where you’ve crash-landed.

You have to capture and train the wild monsters on the island and build a team to battle other monster scouts in the annual race and become the world’s greatest monster scout. You also have to rescue your fellow airship passengers so that all of you can escape the island and get back home safely.

NoE say that after you’ve completed Joker 2, you can start over with newly upgraded powers. Once you’ve started over, you’ll be able to fly back and explore Joker 2’s island all over again, this  time with the ability to recruit bigger and more powerful creatures from previous games.

In North America, Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 2 is slated for August 28th.
