Previously, it was announced that Dynasty Warriors Vs. would have costumes based on popular Nintendo characters. Today, we know what two of these will be. Japanese retail blog, Sinobi, reports that Famitsu magazine has revealed Link and Samus costumes for the game.
The Samus costume in question isn’t her Varia Suit, though. It’s the Zero Suit, and its design is based off of Metroid: Other M. The Link costume is based on his Skyward Sword design. We aren’t sure if the costumes will come with the game or will be released as DLC.
What we do know is that this makes at least four Metroid crossovers with Tecmo Koei. The earliest was a Zero Suit Samus costume for Fatal Frame IV. Then came Metroid: Other M, which was developed by Team Ninja, who are part of Tecmo Koei. After that came the Ridley stage in Dead or Alive: Dimensions, and finally, we now have the Dynasty Warriors presence.
