Two more guest characters have been announced for Digimon World Re:Digitize in V Jump magazine, including one who’s not from Season 1 of the anime. This character is Takato Matsuda from Season 3, Digimon Tamers, with Dukemon as his partner. The other character is the popular Yamato Ishida and his partner, MetalGarurumon.

Additionally, Namco have announced that if you defeat Takato, you can obtain accessories that you can decorate your Digimon with. These will most likely have no effect on your Digimon’s stats—only its appearance. There are a total of over 10,000 items to choose from, two of which are goggles (which season’s is unknown) and an afro (from Season 1).

As far as Digimon go, two more Digimon have been announced for the game as well—VictoryGreymon and Lilithmon. Digimon World Re:Digitize will be released on July 19th in Japan.
