Xseed have released the first English screenshots of Ragnarok Odyssey for the PlayStation Vita. The game, developed by Grandia developer, Game Arts, is set in an original world inspired by the universe of popular MMORPG, Ragnarok Online.

In Ragnarok Odyssey, human beings discover the Isolated Land, hidden behind the Thousand Year Mountains, which are said to be impossible for even a flying dragon to cross. When the mountains come crumbling down, they free the giants within the Isolated Land, who begin invading human territory.

Ragnarok Odyssey lets you create a customized character and choose from six job classes—Sword Warrior, Hunter, Hammersmith, Assassin, Mage, and Cleric. Character customization options include gender, facial features, accessories and so on.

Ragnarok Odyssey will be available sometime this summer in North America. The game will have online multiplayer co-op for up to four players.
