Monkey Island creator Ron Gilbert’s next game, The Cave, is headed to the PC, Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network, but also to the Wii U, according to a Joystiq report.
The Cave is a side-scrolling adventure game that Gilbert has had conceptualized for several years. Gilbert, who has been working at Tim Schafer’s Double Fine Productions since 2010, originally joined the company to work on this title.
The Cave will allow you to play as seven different characters, and involves descending into and exploring a cave as the title suggests. You can watch a trailer for the game here. It’s being published by Sega.
