Hunk from Capcom’s Resident Evil series should have no problem fighting the Akrid in Lost Planet 3. The Umbrella team leader survived Raccoon City’s zombie infestation and fought B.O.W.s in Resident Evil 4’s Mercenaries mini-game. Hunk is one of the bonus characters that comes with the Freedom Fighter pre-order bonus pack. You also get Gale Holden from the original Lost Planet (which kind of makes sense since Lost Planet 3 is a prequel) and three other Lost Planet 3 characters.
The Freedom Fighter pack also gives Jim Peyton two parts for his Rig, the pressurized claw that increases its crushing power and the Tungsten Carbide Drill which bumps up his drill attack.
Lost Planet 3 is slated for release on August 27 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC.
