As detailed in previous reports, Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl will feature two modes—a Story mode with fixed characters and a greater focus on story with animated cutscenes, and a Classic mode, where you’ll be able to create your own party, just like in previous Etrian Odyssey games.

This afternoon, Atlus USA shared a new trailer for the game showing off Classic mode. Classic mode is an upgraded version of the original Etrian Odyssey, with gameplay improvements from Etrian Odyssey IV, as well as updated music. Watch the trailer above.

Etrian Odyssey Untold: The Millennium Girl will be available in North America on October 1st for the Nintendo 3DS.
