We previously reported that Valve’s Left 4 Dead is headed to Japanese arcades as Left 4 Dead: Survivors, which was originally announced as project Z. Taito gives us a first look at gameplay, which will emphasize the co-op aspect of the game, similar to the main series.
Like the other Left 4 Dead games, Survivors’ story revolves around the four people who are fighting for their lives in the midst of a zombie outbreak, as they must help each other in order to make it alive.
The game’s slogan is “4 vs. 1,000,” and it looks like you’ll be fighting more zombies than you can handle, so might need to be ready to crack your knuckles and loosen your wrists before diving into this survival shooter!
Left 4 Dead: Survivors will be released in 2014, and a location test will be conducted from the 23rd to 25th of May.
