Persona 4 Arena Ultimax Shows Margaret And Her Personas In Action

Recommended Videos

Atlus recently announced that Margaret will join her sister as a playable character in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax. In the latest of the game’s videos, we get to see Margaret, the “Handsome Man-Keeping Super Sadistic Secretary”.

Margaret’s video starts out with her wondering how the fate of an earlier visitor to the Velvet Room will end. She is then seen talking to the others of the Velvet Room, like Theodore, who she asks to buy her 100 colas.

She also shows concern to her sister Elizabeth by asking if she’s sure she doesn’t want to return.

Margaret then busts out her different Personas (all good-looking ones, too) and gives her opponents a run for their money. If that weren’t enough, she also calls out Helel, who looks like he was about to use his signature Morning Star move, as her Instant Kill.

Moving along, the above video is a short tutorial on the movements and other basics of help. It probably won’t be of help if you’ve ever played any other fighters, but if not, you can get a good idea on how most of them work from here.

Rise makes an appearance in this one, where she teaches how to do basic attacks, combos, counters, Bursts, All Out Attacks, SP skills, and more.

The third video features Fuuka, who teaches some of the new systems in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, starting with the S Hold System, which is a special attack that can be used by holding down the A button to charge the S Hold meter.

Depending on how long you hold down the A button, you’ll get different attacks. This feature is there to help out players who aren’t that great at doing input commands, which can be a little intimidating for beginners.

She then gives us a look at the normal and Shadow type characters, where we get a demonstration of Shadow Yu using his Shadow Rampage mode, which allows him to attack with unlimited SP for a short period of time.

Finally, Mitsuru is here to give us a lesson on some of the more advances techniques, such as proper recovery, different ways to block, quick escapes, mini-jumps, bad statuses, skill boosts, and other features that were in Persona 4 Arena.

Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will be released in North America on September 30, 2014 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
