DC Entertainment Announces Mortal Kombat X Comic

DC Entertainment have announced a new Mortal Kombat X comic book series. Based on the Mortal Kombat X game being developed by NetherRealm Studios, the comic book tie-in will serve as a prequel to the game’s story.

 

The series is being written by Shawn Kittelsen with artwork by Dexter Soy. Iven Rels will provide the cover for each issue. Issue #1 of Mortal Kombat X will debut in January 2015, and each issue will be released digitally first.

 

Meanwhile, the Mortal Kombat X game is scheduled for release on April 14th, 2015.
