Similar to its predecessor, Yo-kai Watch 2 has sold extremely well, and it doesn’t look like Level-5 are slowing down anytime soon, as they revealed that Yo-kai Watch 3 is in the works, along with a new title of Yo-kai Watch Busters in this month’s issue of CoroCoro Comic. [Thanks, Otakomu.]
If the name Yo-kai Watch Busters sounds familiar to you, it was actually a multiplayer mode in Yo-kai Watch 2 that had you and others play as various yokai to take on powerful oni.
This Yo-kai Watch Busters will now be its own title, where up to four buddies can get together and take on yokai bosses. So far, it sounds like it could possibly be the series first Monster Hunter-style title.
