Disgaea 5: Alliance of Vengeance will be the first Disgaea game with a season pass and Nippon Ichi has four months of downloadable episodes in Japan. Players will be able to get classic Nippon Ichi characters like Laharl from Disgaea D2, Axel from Disgaea 2, Raspberyl from Disgaea 3, and Valvatorez from Disgaea 4.
On March 26, the same day Disgaea 5 comes out in Japan, a downloadable Disgaea D2 Laharl Chapter will be available for 500 yen. This chapter also adds Laharl, Etna, Flonne, and Sicily as characters. Laharl-chan or female Laharl will be sold separately for 300 yen.
Disgaea 4 content is scheduled for April 30 and there are two different storylines to grab. The Valvatorez chapter adds Valvatorez, Fenrich, and Artina to Disgaea 5. While the Fuka chapter brings Fuka, Desco, and Emizel into the game. Each chapter costs 500 yen. Also, NISA will be available for 300 yen.
Disgaea 3 is big enough to get two chapters too. The Mao chapter adds Mao, Raspberyl, and Salvatore. Pick up the Almaz chapter to get Almaz and Sapphire. Just like the Disgaea 4 content, each chapter is sold separately for 500 yen. Metallica, a guest character from The Witch and the Hundred Knight, costs 300 yen. This round of DLC will be available on May 28.
Beginning on June 25, you can get the Disgaea 2 Adell chapter which brings Adell, Rozalin, and Axel on to PlayStation 4 for 500 yen.
The last wave of DLC is all crossover content. The Phantom Kingdom Zetta chapter adds guests Zetta, Pram, and Peta to Disgaea 5. Pick up the the La Pucelle Demon Overlord Priere chapter if you want Demon Overlord Priere. Each of these chapters are 500 yen and will be available in Japan on July 30.
Altogether, the downloadable content costs 4,900 yen. A season pass that includes all of this content plus Pleinair as a playable character costs 4,000 yen. So far, Pleinair isn’t sold separately.
Nippon Ichi also has Toro and Kuro crossover DLC for free plus a PlayStation Plus exclusive character. The Celestial Host will be available for PlayStation Plus users in Japan between April 1 to May 6.
NIS America plan to release Disgaea 5 in North America and Europe this fall.
