The Neptunia series often likes to do parodies of other games and genres, but they occasionally also use features seen in other games as their own little extras. The official website shows more of Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II’s town development.

By selecting the “Investment” option on the main menu, you’ll get to develop your town. Investments are split into three choices of Commerce, Industry, and Public Relations. By using invest you can level them up for bonuses.

Each field of investment has 10 bars, and by filling them up all the way, they’ll level up. After leveling them up, they’ll have the following effects:

  • Commerce: increases the number of items at shops, and may even add limited items.

  • Industry: increases the number of items that can be developed. Business proposals will also be unnecessary if done in this manner.

  • Public Relations: shares increase, items will be given to you, and “that program” might even air.

Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory II will release in Japan on April 23, 2015 for PlayStation 4.
