Aksys has picked up a new JRPG. The Nintendo 3DS game Moco Moco Friends is being localized. Similar in gameplay to Pokemon, Moco Moco Friends tasks players with becoming a Moppet Master, a leader and trainer of creatures called Moppets. Your goal? To make them strong enough to keep Dreamtopia safe from evil.
In Moco Moco Friends, players won’t only be battling with 120 kinds of Moppets to ensure they’re fully evolved and incredibly strong characters. They’ll also be interacting with the world. This means visiting the Garden to grow plants or talking with people in town to help them complete quests. Be sure to visit the game regularly, though, as the Garden’s plants will grow even when you aren’t playing.
Moco Moco Friends will be the first Nippon Columbia game released outside of Japan. It will come to the Nintendo 3DS this fall.
