Xseed Games has revealed the official launch date for Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson. The Nintendo 3DS game will be released on September 15, 2015. Both a $39.99 standard edition and $49.99 special edition will be available at launch. The special edition includes a two CD soundtrack with music from the game.

In addition to the Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson launch date, Xseed has announced that Senran Kagura Burst is on sale. The original game will be $19.99, rather than $29.99, on the eShop until September 14.

Having Senran Kagura Burst game data on the 3DS SD card unlocks an additional character in Senran Kagura 2: Deep Crimson. People who own both games will be able to play as Murasame, the older brother of Hanzo ninja Ikaruga.
