XSeed Games has released a new Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders from Planet Space trailer that takes a little over a minute to show how the three military forces in game fight giant insects from outer space. Framed in the same manner as a B-movie, the video shows some of the different buggy bullies, as well as the sorts of weaponry the three classes can use in the game.

Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders from Planet Space has three different classes, all with their own weaponry. The Air Raider sounds like someone who would take flight, but rather works with traps. Sentry guns, mines, bombs, and air strikes are used by him for attacks that require a little more planning and critical thinking. The Infantryman is the standard unit present in almost every EDF installment, and relies upon things like traditional guns and tanks. The Pale Wing is the one that takes to the sky, using a jetpack to fly around bugs and strike from above with energy-based weapons.

The PlayStation Vita will be getting Earth Defense Force 2: Invaders from Space this fall. People can fight these oversized aliens either alone, or with up to three friends locally or online.
