Mortal Kombat X is going to be getting an infusion of fresh blood in 2016. NetherRealm Studios is going to be creating new add-on content for the fighter. The supplemental material will be released in the first half of next year.
Exact details on what will be released haven’t been made available. The teaser image above was released, showing four potential combatants hidden in shadows. Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment also confirmed that new character skins and an additional environment will be among the 2016 DLC.
Mortal Kombat X is immediately available for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
