Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna Is Being Made To Bring Back Memories From ‘90s RPGs

Square Enix revealed Project Setsuna as Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna during the SCEJA Press Conference 2015 last night. This week’s issue of Famitsu magazine provides further details on the game being developed by Tokyo RPG Factory. [Thanks, Hachima.]

The contents of Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna are said to be something that will bring back the feelings that we got from ‘90s RPGs such as Dragon Quest, Final Fantasy, and Chrono Trigger.

Events and battles happen in top-down perspective, while the game’s battle system inherits the ATB system from other Square Enix titles. The fields will allow you to travel and battle seamlessly without having any screen changes.

Ikenie to Yuki no Setsuna is currently 60% in development, and will release for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita in early 2016.
