When Ghostlight Ltd. brings Compile Heart’s Mugen Souls to Steam, it will also release all of the DLC. The company announced plans to distribute add-ons that were also part of the console release. There’s one notable change, and that’s that some items will either be discounted or free.

Ghostlight didn’t name specifics, but made some general statements concerning the Mugen Souls DLC. 30 items that people had to pay extra for in the PlayStation 3 version will be free for Windows PC players. Also, there will be a launch discount on the add-ons that do have a price, temporarily taking 40% off of the cost. The publisher also mentioned “substantial savings” on the content compared to the original price.

Mugen Souls will arrive on Steam for Windows PCs on October 22, and will be $19.99. It will be 40% off at launch, making the price $7.99. The DLC roll out will begin on October 27. The Windows PC port will have improved graphics, offer gamepad or keyboard and mouse control schemes, and add Steam achievements. Ghostlight hasn’t mentioned if it will also offer Steam trading cards.
