Night School Studio has announced that its supernatural teen thriller Oxenfree will be coming out in January 2016 for PC, as well as making its console debut exclusively on Xbox One.

A new story-focused trailer has been released to mark this announcement. Oxenfree has you following a teenager called Alex as she and her stepbrother Jonas attend an overnight beach party where they accidentally open up a ghostly rift.

The game is a side-scrolling adventure in which you have to make dialog choices, do some basic platforming, and fiddle with radio frequencies to manipulate the rifts.

It’s also worth noting that this is Night School Studio’s debut but the team consists of people who previously worked at Telltale and Disney.
