With just a month until the release of Fire Emblem Fates in North America, Nintendo of America announced a special edition New Nintendo 3DS XL console for the upcoming game.

The above is a look at the Fire Emblem Fates Edition New Nintendo 3DS XL, which will retail for $199.99, but won’t include a copy of the game.

 

Again, when the game launches, further downloadable content in the form of new maps will also be released on a regular basis, with the first map launching on February 19. Players can choose to buy each of these maps individually, or purchase Map Pack 1 for $17.99 to get access to them all at a discount once they are released.
