Hyrule Warriors Legends Video Shows What Happens When People Scan amiibo

Recommended Videos

Like Hyrule Warriors, Hyrule Warriors Legends supports amiibo. People can scan any figure into the game to get some sort of reward, but people who scan in amiibo based on The Legend of Zelda characters get weapons for them. The latest video shows what kind of weapons can come from characters like Link, Toon Link, Zelda, Ganondorf, Sheik, and Wolf Link.

The Link, Toon Link, Zelda, Ganondorf, Sheik, and Wolf Link amiibo all unlock random third tier weapons for their respective characters. As an example, the video shows Link unlocking the Power Gloves +, a weapon for Link that includes a flail that resembles a BowWow. It also says the Wolf Link amiibo will unlock third tier weapons for Midna and Twili Midna. Scanning amiibo that aren’t from the The Legend of Zelda series will randomly give rupees, materials, or a random third tier weapon. All amiibo can only be scanned once each day.

Hyrule Warriors Legends will be released on the Nintendo 3DS in Europe on March 24, 2016 and will come to North America on March 25, 2016.
