Killer Instinct Is Now Playable On Windows 10 PCs

Season 3 of Rare’s Killer Instinct is now available. This launch is notable as it now means the game is playable on both the Xbox One and Windows 10 PCs. The free-to-start game allows players one character for free, but requires people to purchase additional characters.

The main draw of Killer Instinct season 3, aside from balance changes and the ability to play on Windows 10 PCs, is an expanded character roster. Battletoads’ Rash, the Halo series’ Arbiter, and returning fighters Kim Wu and Tusk have been added to the cast.

The Windows PC version of Killer Instinct does offer cross-play and cross-save support with the Xbox One version of the game, provided you use the same account on both games. Early advice suggests logging into Killer Instinct season 3 on the Xbox One first, prior to playing on a Windows 10 PC for the first time.

Here’s the Killer Instinct season 3 launch trailer.
