Dragon Quest Heroes II Marches Into Shinjuku Station With Giant Blackboard Art

Recommended Videos

With Dragon Quest Heroes II releasing this Friday in Japan, Square Enix put together a giant piece of blackboard art that expands across the Shinjuku station. [Thanks, Game Jouhou.]

The campaign basically put the above artwork across the advertisement space at the Shinjuku Station Metro Promenade of the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line. It took artist RenaRena about a month to complete it.

There’s another campaign going on that will erase the monsters with a “critical hit” from “Blackboard Erase from Eldrick’s Sword,” if the hashtag “#DQH2” gets 5,000 tweets by May 24, 2016 JST.

Dragon Quest Heroes II will release in Japan on May 27, 2016 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation Vita. Check out our earlier report for a look at some giant vs. giant action in the latest gameplay video.
