The Legend Of Zelda: Breath Of The Wild Has Monster Colonies, Shrines of Trials

More information on The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has come out of E3 2016. Nintendo has announced what players can expect to find as they explore Hyrule as Link. Since this entry doesn’t restrict people’s access to areas based on equipment they do or don’t have, it’s possible for Link to reach locations he normally wouldn’t enter until later portions of the game by climbing mountains, paragliding, or just plain walking.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will feature survival elements. Link will be able to cook food from ingredients to restore his health. The weather can also change, influencing how you’ll need to play. Storms bring rain that puts out fires and lightning that could target Link’s weapons. Deserts will be warmer than usual locations, requiring Link to wear more appropriate, lighter clothing.

There will also be over 100 mini-dungeons present in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. These are called Shrines of Trials. They can be found around the world, with each one having puzzles, traps, and treasures inside.

People will need to be cautious while exploring, however. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild adds monster colonies to the series. Instead of creatures randomly appearing, they’ll live among their own. They’ll also be prepared for you, armed with weapons and strategies, requiring you to make sure Link has a variety of weapons and attacks they could be susceptible to.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild will come to the Nintendo Wii U and Nintendo NX in 2017.
