In This JRPG, A Boy’s Imagination Gives Him Monstrous Powers

Being an empathic boy, Jimmy can imagine what it’s like to be a monster so well that he gains the use of their powers, both in and out of combat, in JRPG Jimmy and The Pulsating Mass.

Jimmy’s abilities will help him in many different ways throughout the game. Monsters will act as classes as he copies them, gaining access to abilities that will let him solve environmental puzzles as well as adjusting his stats and powers in combat. These classes can be levelled up as well, giving him greater powers and access to abilities he wouldn’t normally be able to use as that monster.

Jimmy and The Pulsating Mass takes place in the young boy’s imagination, often staying light, cute, and humorous as he explores the world in his head. Even so, his nightmares and fears also exist there, causing dramatic shifts in tone should one make its presence known.

A demo for the game is available now through its page.
