On October 15, 2016, Yo-kai Watch: The Movie will be shown at 11am (local time) in select theaters across the United States. An opportunity to see the movie for free has appeared ahead of the event. A Yo-kai Watch News tweet has revealed a GameStop promotion that can help people get a free ticket to the movie.

To take advantage of the offer, someone must visit a GameStop store and spend $10 or more on Yo-kai Watch merchandise. This should apply to medals, toys, and even a copy of Yo-kai Watch 2 for the Nintendo 3DS. A code will be printed on your receipt. You then enter that code at Fandango when buying a ticket to get in for free.

The events of Yo-kai Watch: The Movie have quite a bit in common with the Yo-kai Watch 2 Nintendo 3DS games. Nate, Whisper, and Jibanyan travel back in time to team up with Nate’s grandfather and Hovernyan to face a new menace to both humans and Yo-kai.
