The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks originally appeared on the Nintendo DS in 2009 and is set after The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass. Players follow the adventures of Link shortly after he is named a Royal Engineer and given permission to drive trains along the Spirit Tracks around the world. After Princess Zelda’s body is stolen and the Spirit Tracks removed by her former aid, Chancellor Cole, it’s up to both Link and Zelda to explore the Tower of Spirits, restore the Spirit Tracks and Zelda, and defeat Cole and his Demon Train. It is $9.99 on the Nintendo Wii U.

Breath of Fire is the first installment in the turn-based JRPG series and appeared on the Super Nintendo. It is $7.99 on the New Nintendo 3DS. Players follow a young man named Ryu, who appropriately enough is part of the Light Dragon Clan and can transform into a dragon, as he attempts to defeat agents of the Dark Dragon Clan and save both his sister and the world. He’s joined by Nina, Windia’s winged princess who can change into a bird, Bo the wolf-man, Karn, a thief who can fuse with his allies, Gobi the fish-man, and others.
