Pokémon GO Valentine’s Day Event Involves Chanseys, Clefables, and Jigglypuffs

Another Pokémon GO event has begun. To celebrate Valentine’s Day, Niantic is offering various bonuses and increased character distribution to celebrate the holiday until February 15, 2017.

An array of pink Pokémon will be more prevalent within Pokémon GO. Chansey, Clefable, and Jigglypuff are among the critters that will appear with greater frequency. In addition, you’re more likely to hatch a Cleffa, Igglybuff, or Smoochum when placing a newly acquired egg into an incubator. Cleffas and Igglybuffs can be found in 2km eggs, while Smoochums appear in 10km eggs.

This Pokémon GO event affects candy acquisition rates and Lure Module durations as well. Your partner Pokémon will find candy twice as fast. All placed Lure Modules will last for six hours, rather than half an hour.

Pokémon GO is available for Apple iOS and Android devices.
