Atlus recently announced Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Strange Journey, a refined version of Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey with new content and features for new players. Here are its first screenshots from Famitsu.

Shin Megami Tensei: Deep Stange Journey has a refined system that has been made to be easier to play, as well as various other additional elements to give it more of a “deep” demon experience. It’ll have something to offer for both old and new fans alike.

The game is set in “Schwarzwelt,” a mysterious place that suddenly appeared in the Antarctic as ruined lands. The protagonist and company are sent there to investigate, where they see something you’d never expect to see in the Antarctic—angels and demons. Mankind’s future depends on the choice of the protagonist—your choices.
