After an almost year long delay, Gran Turismo Sport for the PlayStation 4 finally has a release date. The North American and European PlayStation Blogs have delivered information. It will arrive in North America on October 17, 2017, then come to Europe on October 18, 2017.
In addition to a release date, some special editions were revealed. The Gran Turismo Sport Limited Edition comes with an eight car GT Sport Starter Pack, 30 GT Sport avatars, a Livery Sticker Pack, a Chrome Racing Helmet for your Driver Profile, $1MM in-game credit, and Steel Book package. It costs $69.99. The $79.99 Digital Deluxe Edition offers a bit more for people’s money, as it includes a 12 car GT Sport Starter Pack, 60 GT Sport avatars, the Livery Sticker Pack, the Chrome Racing Helmet, and $2MM in-game cash. The European PlayStation Blog also mentions a Day 1 Edition of the game, but doesn’t say what it includes. However, the official website says that all pre-orders get a three car pack with a Ford Mustang Gr.B Rally Car, Peugeot 908 HDi FAP – Team Peugeot Total, and Toyota FT-1 Vision Gran Turismo (Gr.3).
Gran Turismo Sport was originally supposed to be released on the PlayStation 4 in November 2016, before a delay was announced in August 2016.
