Hidetaka “Swery” Suehiro and his White Owls studio’s new game has received its first trailer. In this new RPG adventure, players will follow a photographer from New York named Naomi who is stuck in Rainy Woods, a small town in England. The twist is, everyone in Rainy Woods turns into a cat at night, and now that includes Naomi.
The Good Life’s first trailer is almost two minutes long. It sets the scene, establishing the town as the “happiest place on Earth.” Except then, it notes that Naomi found the body of a young woman floating in a pond, with a sword run through her. It is up to Naomi to find the killer, discover why everyone turns into cats at night, and do what she needs to in order to leave Rainy Woods.
The Good Life is going to be crowdfunded through Fig. The campaign is set to begin on September 2, 2017. It is possible to sign up for backstage pass access by providing an email address at the project page.
