This past weekend, Sega held a title announcement event revealing projects new projects from the developer behind the Yakuza series. Yakuza Kiwami 2, the Yakuza 2 remake for the PlayStation 4, a Yakuza Online spin-off, and Hokuto ga Gotoku were announced. Shortly after, an official survey was released gauging interest in these three games in regions outside of Japan.

Sega’s announcement survey was incredibly short. It first asked if the person taking it had heard about Yakuza Kiwami 2, Yakuza Online, and Hokuto ga Gotoku before taking the survey. Then, it asked how excited people were about each game, with responses ranging from “1: No hype. Not interested at all.” to “5: Hype. I want to see more NOW.”

Yakuza Kiwami 2 will be released on the PlayStation 4 in Japan on December 7, 2017. Yakuza Online will come to Android devices, Apple iOS devices, and PCs in Japan in 2018. Hokuto ga Gotoku, the Fist of the North Star game, will come to the PlayStation 4 in Japan in 2018.
