A new Senran Kagura spin-off’s launch is imminent. Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash is now available in Europe and will come to North America next week. To celebrate, Xseed has released a launch trailer. It offers clips from the game’s animated introduction, a look at some of the various water gun battles, and an opportunity to see card leveling in action.
The cards people collect in Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash determine what sorts of special abilities a character can use in battle. Each character can equip one weapon card, three pet cards, and six skill cards. Each card can be leveled up by enhancing it with duplicate cards. For example, leveling up a weapon card could increase its power. As someone plays through this third-person shooter, there will always be one of the three cards at the bottom left corner of the screen with a directional input assigned to each. Pressing one will summon that pet or trigger that skill.
Senran Kagura: Peach Beach Splash is now available on the PlayStation 4 in Europe and Japan. It will arrive in North America on September 26, 2017.
