Battletoads Added To PC Version Of Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove

Recommended Videos

When Shovel Knight was first released, certain platforms had special cameos. The PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation Vita versions had a Kratos sidequest with special gear, for example. The Xbox One’s exclusive was a Battletoads sidequest and gear. Now, that Battletoads content is available in Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove on PCs too.

The Battletoads fight can be found in the Hall of Champions. Rash, Zitz, and Pimple appear, you get a new level to go through, and there is a boss fight in the end against them. After you complete the quest, you get Toad Gear armor. It is green, has a three hit combo, a dash attack, and a ground pound.

Shovel Knight is available for the PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Nintendo 3DS, Nintendo Wii U, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
