Nintendo announced that the Nintendo Switch has sold over 2 million units in the United States alone since its launch back in March.

In the month of September, the Nintendo Switch, Nintendo 3DS, and Super NES Classic Edition claimed two-thirds of all video game hardware sales in the United States, according to video game sales tracker NPD Group.

Several Nintendo Switch titles made its way to the top-seller list of September, including Mario + Rabbids Kingdom Battle at #7, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild at #10, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe at #11. Metroid: Samus Returns made its debut at #8 in September 2017.
