PC Version Of Sonic Forces Gets A Crash-Fixing Patch

Recommended Videos

The PC version of Sonic Forces is experiencing a bumpy start. Not long after launch, many people began reporting issues which would result in crashes after the first few missions or even when the game was loading. However, a patch has just been released to address this specific problem.

Sega alerted people to the patch, which is 73.8MB, earlier this morning. It apparently fixes most of the crash causes and will take effect after it is downloaded, installs, and Sonic Forces is restarted. Initial reports seem to suggest that problem is repaired, but note there is still an issue where cutscenes are choppy and have frame rate drops, even when the rest of the game runs well.

Sonic Forces is available for the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, and PC.
