Bakutsuri Bar Hunter Makes You Fish Creatures Out Of Barcodes With Your 3DS

Bandai Namco previously announced Bakutsuri Bar Hunter as a Nintendo 3DS game that would come with a barcode camera and a fishing reel add-on, and recently they shared a new trailer for the game.

 

While the accessories will cost money (4,800 yen), the game itself can be downloaded for free through the Nintendo eShop in mid-March. Using the camera to scan a barcode opens up a ‘sea’ for players to fish in. When you get a bite, you need to follow the creature with the camera while reeling in to capture the creature.

Bakutsuri Bar Hunter is set to become available in March 2018 in Japan, for Nintendo 3DS.
