God Eater: Resonant Ops announced recently during the 8th Anniversary livestream that the game is getting a slice-of-life anime shorts series, and the first episode was recently released by Bandai Namco.
As mentioned before, the series is meant to be a light-hearted and comical take on the characters that will appear in the upcoming mobile game. The first episode takes place in what seems to be an alternate universe Japanese high school, but it turns out the main character was daydreaming while knocked out by an Aragami.
