Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze brings platformer action to the Nintendo Switch today and we got a look at a new launch trailer highlighting its characters including the new Funky Kong.
The trailer starts out with a look at the previously available characters in Donkey Kong, diddie Kong, Dixie Kong, and Cranky Kong, followed by the new playable character Funky Kong. In addition to the regular mode, there’s a new Funky Mode where he’s the only playable character with no companions. Funky Kong also has five hit points instead of two, and he also has the ability to double jump, hover, stand on spikes, and breathe underwater.
Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze releases on Nintendo Switch today, May 4, 2018. The game is also available on Wii U.
