Tales Of Vesperia PlayStation 3 Fan Translation Patch Withdrawn

Recommended Videos

The people behind the fan translation of the PlayStation 3 version of Tales of Vesperia have decided to withdraw their patch. They have cited the worldwide release of the Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Version of the game, which is coming to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC as the reason for willingly ending distribution.

Here is the exact message from the Tales of Vesperia PlayStation 3 fan translation team.

“As such, we have decided to withdraw our fan translation patch. This translation was always intended to allow the English speaking Tales fanbase to fully enjoy the PS3 exclusive Vesperia content, and it has served this purpose well for a few years now. But with this announcement it is no longer neccessary [sic], so we are no longer going to distribute the patch.

If you are distributing this patch yourself, we would appreciate if you respected this decision and stopped doing so. Thank you.

If you want to play Tales of Vesperia with the PS3 content, please buy and support the official release of the Definitive Edition this Winter.”

Tales of Vesperia: Definitive Edition was announced during Microsoft’s E3 2018 media briefing and will be coming to the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC in Winter 2018.
