Little Dragons Cafe Video Talks About Why The Cafe Has A Dragon

Recommended Videos

Aksys has begun a new video series starring Yasuhiro Wada, the creator of Little Dragons Cafe, Birthdays the Beginning, and Hometown Story. A new series of “making of” videos will go over how Little Dragons Cafe got its start and came to be the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 game we see today. In the very first episode, we learn about how it went from a game about a cafe to one that also has a dragon in it.

The video begins with Wada saying he wanted a relaxing game focusing on a cafe and its customers. But then Tomio Kanazawa, 7’scarlet’s Director and Writer, was brought onto the project and say Wada’s initial story was not “catchy” and was a little “bland.” Kanazawa’s input led to the dragon becoming an element and people getting to raise and take care of it while also managing the cafe.

Little Dragons Cafe releases in North America on August 28, 2018 for PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. It will come to Japan on August 30, 2018.
