Splatoon 2’s Twitter has revealed new artwork of Inklings and Octolings dressed up in Halloween gear, ready for this Friday’s Splatoween Splatfest on ‘Trick vs Treat’.
This Splatfest is the first Splatfest that is set to take place over 48 hours rather than the usual 24, ending October 21, 2018. This Splatfest is also global, letting players face off against rival teams across the entire world.
As previously detailed, the Splatfest stages will have Halloween decorations as well as the usual night theme, and Inkopolis Square residents will be dressed up in more fitting costumes for the spooky Splatfest.
Splatoon 2’s free Halloween gear is also up for grabs during this period, and can be gotten by accessing the news page through the Switch’s main menu.
