While The Quiet Man is an entirely silent adventure starring a deaf man named Dane who ends up heading out to save a kidnapped woman named Lala, music is an important part. After all, Lala is a singer. Now, it turns out Imogen Heap is behind The Quiet Man theme song, “The Quiet.” A three-and-a-half minute video from Square Enix has her speaking about the song she has created and will perform for the game.

Here’s the official video where Heap talks about making “The Quiet” for The Quiet Man. She notes that she was asked to come onboard to create the theme song and goes over her inspiration for it. As part of her creation process, she noted that she watched videos of people who had received cochlear implants and were hearing or hearing better for the first time, watched their reactions, and tried to kind of capture that feeling with the song.

Heap’s first album, iMegaphone, was released in 1998. She has four total, as well as one album with Frou Frou, where she was the lead singer. Some of her most famous songs are “Let Go,” “Hide and Seek,” “Goodnight and Go,” “Daylight Robbery,” “Headlock,” “First Train Home,” and “Lifeline.”

The Quiet Man will come to the PlayStation 4 and PC on November 1, 2018.
