Focusing on a major digital-only title this time, Puyo Puyo eSports comes out this week in Japan, being one of the first recognized games under the Japan eSports Union which was created this year. This version of Puyo Puyo adds characters from Puyo Puyo Chronicle and the smartphone game Puyo Puyo Quest, and changes the presentation and UI to appeal more to casual viewers.
Apart from Puyo Puyo eSports, this week sees the release of several ports of older games. Yomawari: The Long Night Collection takes a stroll on Nintendo Switch, while Castlevania Requiem: Symphony of the Night & Rondo of Blood is about to curse the PlayStation 4. The Japanese version of Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, titled Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection International, also comes out this week after some troubles.
