The latest star-studded slamfest featuring Nintendo all-stars and a collection of icons across gaming history comes out this week, featuring 11 new characters, a fresh take on collectibles via Spirits Mode, and many ways to customize how you play, such as with the Smashdown and Squad Strike modes.
Perhaps understandably as a result, not much else new is being released this week. Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom comes out digitally this week on the main modern platforms (Switch-only in Japan), being the latest game in the Wonder Boy series. The Last Remnant is getting a remastered version for PS4, and Katamari Damacy Reroll comes out early on Steam. Imagineer’s also making a pet simulation game for the Switch titled Little Friends – Dogs & Cats.
