When the Nintendo Switch version of My Girlfriend is a Mermaid?! was announced, it was also revealed that the game would have a new opening theme song sung by the Ion, Petako, and Rin voice actresses. Now, we know exactly how that will sound, as the Nintendo Switch opening movie has been released. The cinematic looks a bit different than the original PC version’s opening, but still make sure to highlight the three heroines and their unusual natures.
Here is the My Girlfriend is a Mermaid?!’s new opening movie. As a reminder, Ion is voiced by Mai Fuchigami, Petako’s voice actress is Aya Suzaki. Finally, Rin is Risa Kageyama.

My Girlfriend is a Mermaid?! is expected to receive its PC English translation in either December 2018 or January 2019, while the Nintendo Switch version will debut in February 2019.
